Based out of Calgary, Alberta, ECOTONE Environmental principals and their subcontractors bring to the company extensive experience working together on ecological inventory, assessment and monitoring projects in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

ECOTONE Environmental’s team has collaborated on more than 150 rural/urban/industrial land ecology projects together since 2007. These projects included, but are not limited to: wetland assessment, rare plant and rare plant community surveys, vegetation community/habitat mapping, and specialized wildlife and wildlife habitat surveys as part of Biophysical Impact Assessments (BIA), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Wetland Assessment and Impact Reports (WAIR), and Habitat Restoration Plans (HRP). ECOTONE has the knowledge and experience to seek and achieve project approvals and to complete technical conditions of approval, when and if required.

ECOTONE has the capacity to handle several projects at once since each member of our team coordinates a specific area of the project and has the ability to independently schedule and manage the tasks that their discipline requires. In general, the company has had the capacity to manage between 10 and 20 small to mid-sized projects per year.
